First Week in Europe

Well, it has been about one week since I arrived in England. Since arriving I have been to London, England, Cork, Ireland, Cliffs of Moher, Ireland, and Dublin, Ireland.  I have seen  so many things that it is still a shock that I am over here.  The time I spent in London was amazing.  I saw all the major sites, among them learning and becoming a pro at the Underground system.  I saw a lot of the different areas of London as well as the London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and many more places.  I could go on and on about the things I saw and did, but I'll share that later.
Then I spent some time in Cork, which was much different from London.  The pace of life is slower than London, which was a nice change of pace, but still kind of too slow from what I am used to.  In Cork I traveled to Blarney and saw the Blarney Castle and kissed the Blarney Stone (kind of high up and scary how you have to go about kissing the stone, not as easy as you would think).  Then walked around and explored all of Cork and then went to Cobh as well, where I saw the memorials for the Titanic and the Lusitania.  Also I saw the statue of Annie Moore in Cobh.

Next on the visits was the Cliffs of Moher.  This was an absolutely breath taking site.  However, our bus let us off at the cliffs and we had to walk down to our B&B, which the road was narrow and no sidewalks and just fields on either side of us.  Cars would zoom by and we had to watch at times when cars were coming both ways we stopped at parts along the side.  Then we finally made it and the B&B was very cute and adorable.  The owner was very friendly and thoughtful.  The room was nice and roomy, the view from the windows was pretty.  Then the next day we left early to make our way to Dublin, our breakfast was a fit for a king.  We had so many options to eat on top of eggs that I ordered, it was nice to have so much food to choose from, but so filling.  Then we got dropped off the at the bus stop at the Cliffs and waited for our bus to take us to Dublin!
