Where do I begin? I arrived in Oxford and now I am spending my time in Kidlington! I explored a bit of Oxford City Centre on Sunday. I just did a little bit of shopping in town and then took the bus back to where I'm staying. That evening I experienced a traditional English Roast for Sunday dinner, which let me tell you was delicious and everything was amazing.
Then Monday rolled around and it was time for my first day at school, which was a little nerve wrecking as it is always it seems like for the first day starting somewhere. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming at the school and the kids are terrific. I am learning each day different terms for things and learning words I wasn't even aware of, which is always entertaining. I am also starting to enjoy drinking tea, which I've always been a little iffy about, but now it is starting to grow on me. I have seen a little bit of the area. I am going to attempt to try and explore the area more by this weekend and see some of the area! I'm excited to learn more while at my student teaching experience, but still it is too early to learn a whole lot being only that I finished my second day! But everything is going well and it's quite the learning experience while I am here and taking this opportunity to enjoy it!
